Let's Get Going!

.

If you are waiting for the Washington crowd to decisively fix our economic woes, then I'm afraid that you are in for a very long wait.

The food fight atmosphere in our nation's capitol these days will prevent any helpful actions from that quarter for years to come.

But we don't have to wait for politicians to pull us out of economic malaise. Each of us, as individuals, can act TODAY to build a better tomorrow.

Want jobs? Then why don't we work together today to the build the companies, products and services that we surely will need tomorrow.

Each of us can contribute today to one of three sectors we need to create those job opportunities... technologists, investors, and management. We need significant contributions from all three to build successful organizations.

Yes, I know that the people in these sectors really hate to cooperate. Technologists think that 'if you build it, they will surely come'... ignoring the need for money and marketing to make it happen. Investors seemingly are in a perpetual search to cash in on the next 'get rich quick' scheme... ignoring the real need for the long view to build value. And managers seemingly prefer personal greed to group growth. But it doesn't really have to be this way.

I'm in the management camp myself. I know some of the systems and procedures needed to build the next great company.

Are you a technologist? Are you humble enough about your own skills and capabilities to work with an insanely great team of investors and managers?

Are you an investor? Had enough of the ups and downs of Wall Street lately? Interested in building long term wealth by building long term value?

We don't need Washington's permission to build the next great company, but we do need to get to know each other, and get on with the difficult and important job of personal and professional growth.

Are you a doer or a talker? I'm ready to make it happen!

Are you?

I'm sitting here waiting to hear from you...
